Camelot * Scenic design * Karle H. Murdock
Produced by the Golden Apple Dinner Theater in Sarasota, 1999. The basic set was mobile 2 periaktois
with hinged doors that rolled around the set and opened to reveal several different walls for different scenes.
The large tree, from within which, Arthur jumps, lived off Stage Right on the Stage Right platform.
The stage right proscenium leg was foliage and trees while the stage left proscenium was a stone wall
symbolizing the transition from the matriarchy to the patriarchy. The header, which can't be seen, was
a co-mingling of the two motifs. Scenic painting, including the oleo drop, was performed by Karle H. Murdock.
