King and I * Scenic design* Karle H. Murdock

Produced by the Golden Apple Dinner Theater in Sarasota, 1988.

The basic set was a 3 sided turn table with back-lit hinged translucent doors that

added the illusion of width to the 3 views. (below left) is the Buddha door

closed which opened to reveal the Buddha ladder (second from top left).

All scenic painting, including the oleo drop, (below right) was performed by Karle.

Practical Chandeliers were designed and constructed by Karle.
