Painted in Michigan during and after college when I was working as an actress. It is imagining about the future, about what might be in store for me. We had a big front window in the farmhouse where flies flew in a buzzing cloud every morning when it was hot.

There were many other "Michigan" paintings that were left in Michigan. This is one of only two I kept.

The image is personal, very introspective, untrained in art, typical of my college work or the Michigan years.
