Bones and Apples

Oil paint. 14" x 18".

Art School assignment 14 oil paintings in one year for a painting class. I figured out they didn't have to be large paintings to get a grade.

The still life set up was by a teacher for another painting class. The contrasting images drew me in.

I used just three hues, alizarin crimson, ultramarine blue and white.

I am attached to this painting because of what I learned from it. I have always hung it in my personal space.
