Florida Studio Theatre, "No Way to Treat a Lady".

I was asked to paint a life sized portrait of Cathy Hellenda, the star of the show, on black scrim. The intention that she would appear from behind the scrim by assuming the same position as the portrait then be revealed by lighting. This was a challenge! I painted her likeness by looking at a small photograph of her, in character, costume & makeup, which, I held in my left hand as I painted using only white paint on black scrim. The flat was eventually given to the Cathy as a memento.
